Veterans Day honored by free carwash at Don’s Done Rite

Veterans Day is Saturday, Nov. 11

BERKLEY, Mich. – All veterans, military personnel and first responders can receive a free carwash at Don’s Done Rite Car Wash on Saturday.

This is the 10th year the carwash, located at 3515 Twelve Mile Rd, has offered a free carwash in honor of Veterans Day, which takes place this year on Saturday, Nov. 11.

“Veterans Day is a time to honor the service of those who have bravely served our country or are currently active in the U.S. military,” said Don Abood, operator of Don’s Done Rite Car Wash and member of the Midwest Carwash Association. “We also know many of our first responders in the community and we want to include them in our free carwash to thank them for their service. I encourage those folks to come on down to the carwash on Saturday and clean up their favorite ride.”

The Midwest Carwash Association has encouraged members to participate in Grace for Vets, a unifying day for the industry to honor everyone who has served or is currently serving their country.
